The Challenge

A major Bank, undergoing a significant technical transformation, urgently needed to deliver new, critical functionalities for auto dealers. The existing QA capacity lacked the necessary mix of advanced skills, specifically Salesforce, .Net Core, and API Testing, and, crucially, had no pre-existing setup of test automation frameworks. The Bank required external expertise to not only handle day-to-day quality assurance but also to build a lasting, scalable automation foundation that could support multiple development teams across the entire technological change.

Our Approach

We deployed a specialized team of four QA engineers, integrating them first into a core development team responsible for key functionalities. Our strategy was two-fold: immediate quality support and long-term infrastructure building. We began by providing necessary skills for day-to-day operations, including a mix of API, manual, and exploratory testing to ensure top-notch quality in all new features from day one. Concurrently, we shifted focus to the platform team to architect and build a scalable test automation framework designed for reuse across multiple project teams. The final stage involved ensuring the new automation was properly configured for regression testing and fully integrated into the CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.

Scalable Automation Framework: Built a reusable test automation framework and created a comprehensive regression suite fully covered by automation, which was plugged into a Quality Tracking system to ensure a single source of quality truth.
CI/CD Integration & Process Maturation: Ensured the automated tests were fully integrated into the deployment pipelines and drove significant improvements in internal QA processes to boost operational efficiency.
